You’ll be starting with a right hand on your opponent’s lapel. Your left hand will secure a sleeve grip. Your opponent will typically reciprocate these hand placements.

As you shoot your arm under your opponent’s arm, you will cross-step.

Next, you’ll backstep
As you start pulling your opponent down you want to aim to land in between his feet.

Knee on Belly
Next, you’ll look to go into a Knee on Belly and secure the arm for the Armbar.
