
Pic 1: Starting in the butterfly guard position, you’re going to push him to go flat.

Pic 2: Your opponent is going to react and push you back.

Pic 3: You’ll stand up placing your leg in the middle. More often than not your opponent is going to go for the koala guard.

Pic 4 & Pic 5: From here, you’ll hug your opponent’s arm, post your hand, and roll through.

Pic 5: Roll through

Pic 6: Immediately looking for his wrist as well as your own wrist. You’ll jam his wrist into his chest. This will make it difficult for him if he tries to come up to his knees. This will also slow your opponent down and give you time to take his back and do other attacks.
