As soon as your opponent is fully elevated, you’re going to drop your hips to the floor. Your feet go to his hips. Also, you’ll have a hold on his sleeves.
As we elevate him, the key is to make sure his face is over your face. If his head goes too far forward, backward or even to the sides, you’ll loose balance. You can actually practice this. If you can look in his eyes, you should be able to balance him.
Next, as we’re pushing his hands south, we’re going to do a backward roll, moving our head. Dropping him and coming right into the mount position.
