Watch this Video as Professor Guy and his son Holden demonstrate the Hip Bump Sweep. This is a three step technique. Anytime you go for this technique ideally, you’ll want your partner’s hands to be on the mat. Starting in closed guard, you’ll want to sit up and come up on your elbow, bringing your right arm over your partner’s right shoulder to trap their elbow. Next, bump hips into partner to the mount position making sure to bring both hands out wide on the mat for base.
